Philip established Alcyon with the backing of a leading investment group prior to acquiring their shareholding in October 2013.
Philip has 25 years’ senior management, turnaround, structuring and origination experience, including leadership positions in Asset Based Lending as European Sales & Marketing Director of GMAC Commercial Finance, and turnaround investing as Managing Director of a Hilco Capital subsidiary. He was instrumental in pioneering the development of Asset Based Lending in the UK and Europe and the turnaround of many middle market businesses completing more than 100 transactions generating over £1 billion of liquidity and capital.

Mick is a turnaround professional, Group Managing Director and Group Finance Director with 24 years’ experience, 14 years’ at board level, gained in fast paced, rapid growth and change environments, with demonstrable business turnaround experience and strong financial analytical skills to ensure solutions deliver value. A customer focused, commercially astute and accomplished influencer and negotiator with extensive sourcing experience in both Asia and Europe.
Mick qualified with Deloittes and has held senior positions with Cotton Traders, Marks and Spencer and Gelert prior to establishing his own interim management business initially working with Hilco Capital prior to joining the Alcyon team.

Brent Osborne

Brent has 26 years Asset Based Lending and senior management experience and was Sales & Marketing Director of UCB (BNP), BNY International (Bank of New York), GMAC Commercial Finance and most recently Managing Director and Founder of Landsbanki Commercial Finance, which he developed from a new start operation into the UK’s largest independent Asset Based Lending business with a £1 billion loan book.
Brent has developed successful new start businesses overseas in Poland, Germany and the USA and represents the BREAL group of companies: a strategic partner and investor in several Alcyon transactions.

Mike is a highly experienced Managing Director who has led a number of large manufacturing companies in Europe. He holds a Fellowship of Manufacturing Management qualification and has over 25 years’ experience in industry including as CEO of a £250 million cross border telecommunications and manufacturing business.
Mike is a keen advocate of lean manufacturing principles, exceptional customer service, managing change and delivering lasting, sustainable growth for businesses. He is currently acting CEO at High Performance Doors which Alcyon acquired in September 2014.

Melita Latham
PA to the CEO
Melita is PA to the Alcyon team and Office Manager.
Melita began working for Alcyon in the Spring of 2015 after showing exceptional customer service, teamwork and a can-do attitude for a portfolio company, and is responsible for enabling the team to focus on new investments, portfolio operational improvements and delivering Alcyon’s marketing strategy.
